Please read carefully. When a booking is confirmed with us, you are entering into a binding contract with Ardlogie, the principal terms of which are set out below.
Availability - The booking is made on the understanding that we will make the accommodation available to you on the dates stated. Should this not be possible due to events beyond our reasonable control we offer you alternative dates or a refund of your accommodation rental, but you will have no other claim or remedy against us. A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
Payment - A non-refundable deposit of £40.00 is payable on booking, the balance being payable 28 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation & Booking Reductions - In the event of cancellation the deposit is non-refundable and the following scale of charges will apply:
- Up to 4 weeks - deposit only
- Within 4 weeks - 100% of total holiday cost
All cancellations must be notified in writing (email is acceptable) by the client. No contact or no show by 8pm (20.00) on arrival day - the full value of the booking will be charged to your debit/credit card provided. No reduction is made for temporary absence or for departure earlier than confirmed. We recommend that you take out holiday insurance which includes cancellation expenses.
Times - On the day of arrival, occupation will be available from 4.00pm and on the day of departure accommodation must be vacated by 10.00am.
Occupancy Holiday Home – sleeps up to a maximum of 6 people. Under no circumstances can both accommodations exceed the maximum. If this condition is breached we have the right to terminate the contract immediately, without refund. We reserve the right to terminate, vary or re-allocate the accommodation where all material facts are not disclosed. Any unauthorised extension of stay will be charged at the full daily rate. The Holiday Home cannot be sub-let. We regret that we are unable to accept Stag and Hen party bookings.
Linen - Duvet covers, pillows and pillow cases, fitted sheets, towels and tea towel are supplied.
Care - We would ask you to leave the accommodation and its contents clean and tidy when vacating. No fat left in pots and pans please. If excessive cleaning is required a 'Double Cleaning Charge' will be levied, normally £25. Please report any damages or breakages immediately. All damages or breakages of the fittings, equipment, TV, utensils, crockery or cutlery must be reported and will be charged for. If not reported, but discovered after departure they will be charged to the same card as used for the deposit.
Pets - Sorry, no pets allowed.
Responsibility - The person booking and paying the deposit accepts liability for the behaviour of all party members and for ensuring that conditions of booking are adhered to, for loss or damage to the accommodation and the contents.
Age Limit - The holiday home cannot be rented to persons under 21.
Personal Effects - We will not be responsible for the loss or damage to personal property of guests occupying the accommodation. Vehicles, their accessories and contents are left at your own risk. Postage and packaging will be charged for return of belongings left behind. Any lost property not claimed within 1 month will be disposed of
Accidents - We will not be responsible for any injury or death, save insofar as it results from the proven negligence of the Proprietor. All our guests are encouraged to ensure that they have adequate property and personal insurance for their holiday
Candles (including tea lights) - No candles or tea lights are to be used due to the increased fire risk
Music - When using stereo equipment or similar appliances, please consider others, especially between 11.00pm and 8.00am. No late night disturbances will be tolerated.
Accommodation - If for any reason the accommodation is unsatisfactory please notify us immediately so that appropriate action can be taken. We cannot accept subsequent claims for shortcomings not so notified.
Delays - We regret that we cannot accept any liability should adverse weather conditions delay your travel plans, as such we recommend that guests take out adequate insurance.
Rent Act - The booking agreement confers a right to occupy the accommodation for the period agreed for holiday purposes only. Terms of the rent act are excluded.
